APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS

Applicants are required to hold current West Virginia EMT or Paramedic
level certification or have means to obtain such certification through reciprocity,
example - NREMT-P or NREMT-B certification).
Applicants must have a valid driver's license and
possess good communication skills.

Due to the dynamic nature of EMS, applicants should have a firm
grasp on all skills and protocols appropriate to his/her level of training. 
Applicants must be willing to be subject to a criminal background check
and must also pass a drug test screening.
All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to national origin, ancestry, sex, race, religion, age or disability

When emailing, mailing or turning in "in person" add a copy of your drivers license, resume, current CPR card, and EVOC certification. 

For Paramedics Wetzel County EMS requires ACLS, ITLS, PALS or PEPP (Have copies of those cards to turn in with your Application.
